I think that should be "You can't warp when you're scrambled." for interferring with jumpdrives you need to disrupt the field. And AFAIK that can be done as long as it's being created.

Perhaps so, the effect (the ray) is the blaster effect, the gun mounted is a small blaster... they must have some pretty effective modifiers... aka they must be REALLY stupid then.

In Colelie there are belt spawns of Crook Guards (10K rats in a Maulus) that seem to be able to use their blasters on me at 12 km's range... how is that possible, do they get 25% falloff/lvl for being a crook ?
